Melissa Gorga revealed to Page Six that the future of Real Housewives of New Jersey remains uncertain.
When asked whether she has recently filmed for the Bravo series—which went on hiatus last year while producers revamp the cast—the reality star told hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy at the Virtual Reali-Tea Awards Wednesday night, “I cannot confirm or deny.”
“The truth is, they’re figuring it out. I know you don’t want to hear this—none of us want to hear this. I wish I had better answers for you, but they’re figuring it out,” Gorga, 46, added.

Melissa Gorga revealed at Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea Awards that Bravo producers are still “figuring out” the future of Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The RHONJ star also said she cannot “confirm or deny” whether she took part in a recent test shoot.
The RHONJ star, who appeared on the hit series for 12 seasons, said she’s “waiting for them to make a decision, as well, just like all of you.”
Gorga was one of three veteran cast members recently spotted “test filming” alongside new recruits, according to Us Weekly.
An insider told the outlet that producers “want to see how the new girls work on camera with some veteran cast members,” adding that Teresa Giudice’s absence from the shoot does not necessarily mean she’s officially off the show.
The source also noted that Turning the Tables author Jackie Goldschneider, Gorga, and Jennifer Fessler “are still in consideration to be part of the new season.”

Gorga was rumored to be one of the RHONJ veterans taking part in a test shoot alongside potential new cast members.

RHONJ was “put on pause” last year while producers work on revamping the cast
Danielle Cabral, who appeared on the two most recent seasons of RHONJ, told Page Six exclusively at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month that she’s confident producers will “get it right this time.”
The 40-year-old Boujie Kidz founder didn’t confirm whether she’ll return for the series but hinted that cameras may roll sooner than fans expect. “I think it’s gonna happen a lot faster than what you guys think,” she said.
“I really hope to God it’s back to the good, ol’ days: Christmas, Halloween, the holidays. So hang tight. Wait a little longer, I promise!” she added.
Melissa Gorga seemed open to returning as well. At the VRT Awards Wednesday, she said, “We are very much so a family on ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey.’ We love each other. We’ve been together for many years and it’s sad that we’re on this pause. It’s a long pause. It’s like, let’s go.”

Gorga also shared at the VRT Awards that she considers her RHONJ co-stars to be like family.

However, she dismissed any chance of reconciling with her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, who also stars on the hit Bravo series.
