During a guest appearance on Tori Spelling’s missSPELLING podcast, Stephen Baldwin opened up with rare remarks about his daughter, Hailey Bieber.
The actor praised the 28-year-old Rhode founder for her accomplishments, calling her someone who has “done the impossible.”
His comments come more than a year after Hailey revealed that she was “not close” with her family while pregnant with her now 1-year-old son, Jack Blues.

Appearing on Tori Spelling’s misSPELLING podcast on Wednesday, Sept. 17, the 59-year-old actor shared rare remarks about the 28-year-old Rhode founder.
“I never talk about her, but my daughter has done the impossible,” Baldwin said. “In this day and age, though, it’s not really impossible. Young people are making unbelievable amounts of money on the internet—sometimes in very sketchy ways. So, God bless her.”
Beyond her massive online presence—boasting over 55.5 million Instagram followers and 16.5 million on TikTok—Hailey Bieber wears many hats. She’s the founder and chief creative officer of the skincare brand rhode and a new mom to 1-year-old son Jack Blues Bieber, whom she shares with husband Justin Bieber.
In May, Bieber announced a headline-making milestone: e.l.f. Beauty would acquire rhode in a stunning $1 billion deal.
According to a source who spoke with PEOPLE, Bieber never had to seek out a buyer. “This deal came to her,” the insider revealed. “She’s incredibly excited about this new step. She’s proud of how far rhode has come, and she truly believes teaming up with e.l.f. will take the brand to the next level. The resources and support they’re bringing are everything she’s been hoping for.”
The source added, “To be acquired and recognized by such a powerful global company feels like an honor to her. She’s thrilled to take rhode worldwide—and yes, the generous cash payout that came with the deal was the icing on the cake.”
While chatting with Spelling, 52, Baldwin also opened up about his faith and the central role family plays in his life. He’s been married to wife Kennya since 1990, and together they welcomed their first daughter, Alaia, in 1993, followed by Hailey in 1996.
Today, Baldwin embraces not only his role as a father but also as a grandfather. In addition to Hailey and Justin’s 1-year-old son, Jack, he’s also “Papa” to Alaia’s daughter, Iris.
