Kate Middleton and Melania Trump match in suede jackets during state visit

Crisp September air and not a drop of rain in sight — in England, no less? That calls for breaking out the suede.

Kate Middleton and Melania Trump seemed perfectly in sync Thursday as they met with the pint-sized members of the Scouts Squirrels program, both sporting coordinating suede jackets in warm, autumnal tones.

The Princess of Wales, 43, styled her olive-green Me + Em cropped military jacket with Ralph Lauren’s ankle-length Evilyn Birdseye Tweed Skirt ($2,025) and a croc-effect leather belt, finishing the look with a green silk scarf from local textile mill Sudbury Silk Mills.

Kate Middleton and Melania Trump were perfectly in sync in coordinating suede jackets during their visit with the Squirrel Scouts.

The Princess of Wales chose an olive-green Me + Em jacket, while the First Lady went for a caramel-hued Ralph Lauren piece.

For the occasion, FLOTUS swapped her signature stilettos for Roger Vivier flats and was presented with a Scouts scarf by the troupe’s leader.

Gianvito Rossi tall brown suede boots elevated the ensemble beyond typical English countryside wear, while her Spells of Love Teardrop Charm Earrings ($125) added a touch of subtle sparkle.

The 55-year-old First Lady, meanwhile, donned a caramel-colored safari-style suede jacket by Ralph Lauren, paired with Loro Piana cropped pants and Roger Vivier flats.

The coordinated suede moment added another headline-making fashion highlight to what’s already been a busy style week for both women.

Middleton completed her earth-toned ensemble with a silk scarf from local Sudbury Silk Mills and her signature Gianvito Rossi boots.

The 43-year-old’s Spells of Love teardrop earrings shimmered as she crouched to chat with the little Scouts.

Her true sparkle, however, was on her left hand: the iconic blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring that once belonged to Princess Diana.

On Wednesday evening, the pair dazzled in their finest formalwear at a glittering state banquet: Trump in a bold, shoulder-baring yellow Carolina Herrera gown, and Middleton in a fairytale-ready Phillipa Lepley lace ensemble.

Earlier that day, the First Lady made a striking appearance on her Windsor walk with the Prince and Princess, wearing an ultra-wide-brimmed Dior couture disc hat that commanded attention.
