Donald Trump has taken aim at an Australian reporter from the ABC, accusing him of “hurting” Australia when he questioned the U.S. President on whether he’s become wealthier while in office.

The reporter, representing ABC’s Four Corners, asked Trump on Tuesday whether he thought it was appropriate for a President to be engaged in so much business activity. Trump responded by accusing journalist of hurting Australia’s diplomatic relations with America, before telling him to be “quiet”.

“You know, your leader is coming over to see me very soon,” Trump said outside the White House, “I’m going to tell him about you. You set a very bad tone.”

Trump did not reveal when he was expecting a visit from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
